Product Specialist
We are looking for a new team member to coordinate sales and support activities for our fire protection engineering software.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales of technical software products
- Coordinate marketing and advertising activities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding sales and support
- Assist with preparation of product manuals and technical publications
- Manage product information on company web site
- Develop training materials and conduct training seminars
- Assist with software testing and quality assurance
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote software
- Coordinate sales accounting, record keeping, and shipping operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline (required)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Interest in science and technology and working with software and computers
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Experience with web technologies a plus (forums, wikis, blogs, etc.)
- Permanent legal right to work in the US
