Annual Subscription License
The full-service subscription option enables PyroSim for one year, including technical support and all program updates. This option provides cost-effective access to the latest version of PyroSim, while simplifying budgeting for software costs. |
Standard Perpetual License
The standard license provides for unlimited-time use of PyroSim. The first year of maintenance (technical support and upgrades) is included. Maintenance can be renewed after the first year to keep your version up-to-date and to receive technical support NOTE: Maintenance must be paid continuously to remain in effect. |
Unlimited Cluster Option
The 2011 release offers a new feature to quickly setup a network of computers to work together on a single FDS simulation. The base version of PyroSim comes with the ability for up to two computers to work together. To use more than 2 computers, a single Unlimited Cluster fee is charged that will allow any number of computers to be used together on a shared network. The prices below show the cost for each license type. For the annual licenses, the amount is paid for each year that you choose to use the feature. For the permanent licenses, this is a one time payment.

License Types
Node Locked License
The node-locked license type grants the right to use the software on one (1) computer.
This is sometimes referred to as a “fixed” or “single-computer” license.
Floating License
The floating license type allows multiple computers on a network to share a PyroSim license. Each floating license of PyroSim can be used by one (1) computer at a time. When a user closes PyroSim, that floating license becomes available to other users on the network. You can purchase additional copies of the PyroSim floating license to enable simultaneous access by multiple computers. This is sometimes referred to as a “network” or “concurrent use” license.
For example, in a company with 8 fire protection engineers, perhaps no more than 5 are ever working on a fire simulation at the same time. A purchase of five floating licenses would enable up to five of the eight engineers to use PyroSim at once.
Volume Licensing Discounts
50% off all additional licenses. Save money on multiple licenses — all additional licenses after the first are discounted at 50% of the regular price. Licenses must be purchased at the same time to qualify for the discount. Discount applies to all licenses of equal or lesser value.
