Advanced FDS Training

If you're experienced with FDS and PyroSim and are ready to take your skills to the next level, the Advanced FDS course through SFPE is available during the month of April. Virtual sessions are scheduled Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT (+4 UTC). Attendees will work through modules accompanied by lectures led by Thunderhead Engineering's own Bryan Klein. For registration and more details, please visit SFPE.

Fire Science Show

Bryan Klein was also recently a guest on Fire Science Show hosted by Wojciech Wegrzynski. It is a weekly podcast series which interviews a diverse group of experts to present the history and novel advancements of fire science. In episode 39, Bryan and Wojciech discuss the future of fire modeling tools. If you haven't already listened, the episode is available for a free download. Wojciech has previously worked with Thunderhead Engineering and recently presented a parametric car park smoke control study at FEMTC 2020.
