Mesh Assignment is Overhauled in PyroSim 2022.1

PyroSim 2022.1 will release this week with several new features. One that we'll highlight today is the new mesh assignment optimization algorithm. When a model is designed with multiple meshes, they are assigned to separate cores for simulation. This parallel process helps reduce the total time needed. When there are more meshes than processors, an algorithm is used to determine an efficient pairing. Read More...

A Brief History of FEMTC

FEMTC, the Fire and Evacuation Modeling Technical Conference, began in 2011. Thunderhead Engineering noticed a lack of modeling-specific events in the industry and wanted to provide an opportunity for the community to share its progress with one another. It was always designed to highlight achievements through application, research, and experimentation.
